Certain
car engines with overhead camshafts have timing belts that have a
limited life span. Car manufacturers use timing belts instead of more
durable timing chains to reduce noise within the engine, as well as to
reduce cost. The change interval for a vehicle's timing belt ranges
from 60,000 miles to every 105,000 miles. Some engines can be damaged
severly if this belt breaks so be sure to ask your service advisor about
