Schools out for summer and last Monday evening the Bud Clary team held a block party in our Subaru lot to celebrate 63 local fourth and fifth graders who achieved perfect attendance all year.

Nearly 300 family and friends came out to the party which included free burgers and drinks, a giant Spider Man bounce house, face painters, balloon artists and more alike. At the end of the event each student received a brand new free bike, a helmet and other accessories as promised for their impressive dedication to learning. 

Monday’s event marked the fifth annual PACE (Perfect Attendance Achieves Excellence) program celebration for Bud Clary and we’re already looking forward to next year. Going forward the program is expanding to include third-grade students as well which will hopefully mean even more free bikes to give away next June!
